The Michigan Farmworker Legal Hotline is operated by Farmworker Legal Services (FLS) and is the primary way for farmworkers and agricultural workers in Michigan to contact our office for help.

The Hotline serves migrant, seasonal, and year-round agricultural workers, including individuals who harvest fruits and vegetables, work in packing and processing facilities, perform dairy work, and other workers employed in agriculture.

Farmworkers may call the Hotline with questions or concerns about wages, working conditions, workers’ rights, labor trafficking, discrimination, retaliation, housing, and other legal issues related to agricultural employment.

When you call, FLS staff will gather information about your situation to determine whether we are able to assist you. If your case falls within our services, we may provide legal advice or representation. If we are not able to assist, we may provide information or referrals to other organizations.

Please Note: The Michigan Farmworker Legal Hotline is intended for farmworkers and agricultural workers. People working outside of agriculture may be referred to other resources.
